By the by, this joke would be funnier if you had said it twenty years ago.
you won’t find one as J.R.Hartley was a fictitious author used for an advert and I knew someone had ages ago gone into a bookshop and asked for that book to much amusement but never expected to see it being asked about on here. oddly enough my son and I were laughing about it recently. Either then your question is jocularly meant or you have been asleep for very long time!
