whats a good reel to use for casting soft plastics far what were you using

Sorry, I saw the guides on the rod and it looked like a spinning rod turned upside down. I have seen people do that. Did not mean to insult you. Bill
@bill5074 It was very much a casting rod, not a spinning rod. What do you take me for? Hahahaha ; )
tell me you were not using a baicast reel on that spinning rod with that crankbait. The rod was upside down. Just an observation

@WH1T3T41LFREAK95 All depends on how you’ll be fishing. I like to cover water quickly for bigger fish in heavier cover, so I use higher lb test more often than not.
For the shimano caenan that I’m getting I’m wondering if going 12 lb or 10 lb because I can fit 140 yds around there… Rather than 14lb… Idk wat to do. Any ideas?
