i know mate, got a bit excited. Was a great looking old fish, bayliff reckoned it to be about 40 years old! probably rather catch that then one of the commercially farmed, cross-bred super carp though!

Hahaha. I think you may need to Use scales and actually be realistic. That fish will probably never reach 20lb.

Somes lads who got fisrt hand back of the landing net fishing skills taught to them – they both caught their first fish ever – a mixture of Roach, Pearch and Rudd.
I fish there alot, that dark fish looks like one of the wildy king carp and could be very old indeed.

Lovely stuff! I’ve fished there before and the fish get quite big! They actually weigh a lot more than they appear – very chunky! All 3 of the fish look very good!
