Drop-shotting for any type of fish has been proven to be the most effective way of catching fish. Here, Steven Mets (Fishbelly Ambassador for Belguim) is seen drop-shotting a Fishbelly 3.5″ Hawg Shad for perch as it is called in Europe. It is the most natural way of fishing and hoaxing the predator fish to strike.

Of course, the easiest way to do shots like this is to take me fishing with you…… LOL:
Have a wonderful Christmas and enjoy the holidays
And no doubt, there was the ever present worry of dropping the camera.
You know the sunglasses you wear to make it so you can see the water better? They take the glare away… if you have an old pair, you may be able to take one side of the sunglasses out and use something like “Blu-tak”, which wont harm your camera, but would allow you to temporarily stick the sunglasses part to the front of your camera. Just an idea that may help the camera “see thru” the glare on the water.
@MrTatts64 This shot was actually very difficult to do as one hand is holding the camera and the other hand holding the fishing rod. The camera is not a professional one where the lens cannot be interchanged.
