So finally, here we are at the end of my 5th Annual Carp Fishing Holiday. A pukka holiday, no doubt about that! I have enjoyed every moment. It’s now the early afternoon as Mr Martin bids me farewell and leaves me to carry on trying for one last carp. The noise of the day has started to die down and carp are now moving around the lake. aw man i was fishing today, off of some waterfalls, and I saw a huge group of these carp fish, and they were humongous! I think they tend to stay in large groups alot…. as i saw that is. Everytime i tried to get them, they wouldn’t come in, they just weren’t hungry hahaha. but you did some nice fishing my friend.

y do u not use ur swingers/bobbins to tighten ur lines in this vid
i’m using 20lb x-line at the moment and bullet braid and iq leaders in the summer as well if weed is heavy

20lb, 22lb, 28lb, 22.5lb, 27.4lb, 20lb, 20lb
3 commons
20lb, 22lb, 26lb
4 doubles:
14lb mirror (a ‘known fish’ i named ‘flem head’), 18lb & 16lb commons.
an awful lot of nice tench between 3-7lb
and one pike!
Day tickets cost £90 (one day as fishery manager guest) and i used 20+kg of bait.
